Emma Bugden is currently employed as Senior Curator and Programme Manager for The Dowse Art Museum, Wellington and has held previous positions as Director of Artspace, Auckland and Curatorial Director of Te Tuhi Centre for the Arts, Manukau City. She is a former Curator at City Gallery Wellington, and Director of The Physics Room, Christchurch, and was curator of the biennial survey exhibition, Telecom Prospect 2004: New Art New Zealand, across multiple Wellington venues. Emma is standing in front of Simon Morris’ Blue Water Colour, 2011 which was painted in situ at the Dowse Art Museum.
