The Inaugural Design Year…Yeah!
12 months, 12 of New Zealand’s very best designers and 12 limited-edition art prints for your wall… that’s Design Yeah 2013.
The inaugural Design Yeah calendar launches today. It features the work of 12
New Zealand graphic designers, illustrators and directors. It’s been created, at 42cm wide and 60cm high, to be a real feature on home or studio walls.
But – and this is the best bit – micro-perforations allow you to remove the calendar at top and bottom, leaving a perfect A3-size art print for your wall.
That’s 12 limited-edition A3 prints, from 12 exciting New Zealand designers.
The super-talented line up is: Zoe Ikin, Sarah McNeil, Brogen Averill, Natasha Vermeulen, Curtis Baigent, Sarah Maxey, Brett King, Jenny Miles and Nik Clifford, Anzac Tasker, Ash Bolland, Gareth O’Brien and Trent Sunderland. A number of the designers are living and working in New Zealand, while others are currently overseas – in New York, Melbourne, France and even Helsinki. Information about each designer can be found on the Design Yeah website.
There are only 250 copies up for sale, at just $49 each. Visit www.designyeah.com to order one before Christmas, or before they’re all gone!
Design Yeah 2013 is presented by Fancy - the New Zealand Design Blog - and Design Assembly. B&F Papers have also supported the project, supplying a quality 250gsm stock with a yummy matt finish.
Design Yeah will be an annual project, showcasing 12 new NZ designers each year, including leading names and emerging talents.
