Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq:ADBE) is expanding its cloud offering, announcing the launch of Adobe© Creative Cloud™ for teams in Australia and New Zealand, a new membership option tailored for small and medium businesses.

Creative Cloud for teams provides access to all Adobe Creative Suite® 6 applications including Acrobat®, as well as Adobe Muse, Acrobat XI, Lightroom 4, Edge tools and services. In addition, it offers administrative tools for centralised license purchase and management, increased storage capacity, and expert services.

“Adobe’s transformation to the cloud began with a pilot program in Australia and New Zealand before being rolled out around the world in 2012. In just seven months, we’ve seen an incredible take-up globally, with more than one million individuals joining Creative Cloud. Our goal is now to make Creative Cloud the ultimate hub for creative teams, where they can access industry leading tools; store and collaborate across their workplace and ultimately showcase their creations,” said Paul Robson, Managing Director for Adobe Australia and New Zealand.

“With the availability of the new Creative Cloud offering for teams, we’re making it easier for workgroups to create and collaborate.”

Adobe Creative Cloud for teams builds on the tools included in the individual membership. Along with desktop tools, online services for publishing and file sharing, and upgrades and feature updates when they are released, Creative Cloud for teams also includes easy management of virtual workgroups, 100GB of cloud storage per user (versus 20GB for the individual Creative Cloud offering), expert support services, centralised administration for the quick and easy deployment of new seats, and centralised billing and efficient license management.

Mr Robson said the launch of Creative Cloud for teams was an exciting development for resellers in Australia and New Zealand.

“Adobe’s Creative Cloud offering for teams represents a fundamental change for resellers with a new VIP option now available,” Mr Robson said.

“The new Adobe Value Incentive Plan (VIP) will allow resellers to develop a stronger relationship with their customers by offering Creative Cloud for teams with no minimum license requirement, easy management, immediate deployment and automatic compliance.

“Adobe’s new Creative Cloud for teams offering means it has never been easier for small to medium businesses to access our products.”
