Story Telling As Koha: Consolidating Community Memories - Tuafale Tanoa'i aka Linda T.
Tuafale Tanoa’i aka Linda T.’s work makes visible communities and people that are often underrepresented in mainstream society. This is done through generating a living archive of recorded interviews, photographs and sound recordings that are presented within a performative installation framework. The scope of the archive is broad, ranging from the political to personal pertaining to Pacific, Māori, and LGBTQI communities. Drawing material from the STAK archive, this multi-layered exhibition celebrates community workers and their communities.
