Senior Moments: Talk and Tour
Join us on the first Wednesday of every month for a free exhibition tour for older folk and friends who enjoy a casual chat about art. Each month we will look at a new exhibition while touring through our award-winning building in Titirangi. Afterwards, why not visit our neighbours at Lopdell Precinct, grab a coffee at Deco Eatery next door, or even see McCahon House nearby in French Bay.
In our March session, we'll discuss the different influences in our exhibition, Pocket Histories, featuring work of paint, ceramics and textiles inspired by modernism.
April's tour explores a fascinating mix of images, sounds, and sculptural instruments in our interactive From Scratch survey exhibition, 546 Moons - you can even try the instruments out.
In May, we'll look at Kerry Ann Lee's project for our Learning Centre Gallery, Life should be simple and good, which is described as a whimsical garden where you get to make pot plants.
Wednesdays 7 March, 4 April, 2 May, 11am
