It's been 20 years, 20 extraordinary, exciting, mind-expandng years, since SCAPE Public Art began to revolutionise the open spaces of Ōtautahi Christchurch - and public arts practice in Aotearoa New Zealand.

A special occasion like a 20th anniversary deserves a special celebration! Our 20th Anniversary Gala Dinner will be unlike any SCAPE Public Art event before. Like other black tie events, you will receive an exquisite three course meal with matched wines; but unlike other events, this will be a unique experience to dine and converse with world class artists, be entertained by brilliant musicians and hear from business leaders and art experts.

Over the last 20 years, SCAPE Public Art has brought to life 230 temporary and 14 permanent works of art in Ōtautahi Christchurch. We couldn't have done it without the support of so many hardworking and passionate Cantabrians - it would be our honour to celebrate this rich history with you.

Each guest will receive a limited edition copy of Out There: SCAPE Public Art 1998-2018 which dives into the fascinating history of SCAPE Public Art. Written by well-known arts commentator and historian Dr Wareen Feeney and filled with stunning images of SCAPE public artworks, it is a beautiful book.

Each table will have the opportnuity to dine with a SCAPE artist, giving you a unique opportunity to discuss their artworks, inspiration and future aspirations.

The Anderson Lloyd and SCAPE Public Art Business and Arts Partnership Awards will be presented during the evening, which recognise high levels of partnership that exist between business and the arts, and the creativity, commitment and collaboration that enables public art to be produced and enjoyed. If you or your company have collaborated with SCAPE on at least one public artwork, enter the awards now https://www.scapepublicart.org.nz/business-and-arts-partnership-awards.

To secure your table or tickets (limited to 30 tables), please contact Sarah at sarah@scapepublicart.org.nz or 022 197 8259.
A range of payment methods are available, including invoice, internet banking and credit card (surcharge of 2.5%).
