Bojagi, Korean patchwork regular class
Our successful Bojagi class in Wellington open for Beginners in Nov.
We have very limited spaces and currently 1 spcace available for Sat 2:00pm-4:30pm.
You will learn
- The shape is similar to cathedral window in quilt. It is quite fascinating to learn how you can create those round shapes from square pieces.
- There will be different sizes of rectangular shapes joining together for this bojagi. It is one of the traditional bojagi patterns so we can't miss it.
3) Wonhyeong bangseok, meaning round shaped pin cushion
- This beautiful shape of pin cushion is actually for more advanced level. But I am sure you will be able to make it. I will help you :) I will show you 3 different designs and we will choose to learn 1 type of pin cushion in the class.
And if you are new to this, don't worry I will kindly teach you the basic hand stitch techniques used for bojagi.
Most of our students were new but they have been improving heaps and carrying on the course to learn more.
