Colour Shift - Miloŝ Perić
You are warmly invited to join us for the opening exhibition, Colour Shift by artist Miloš Perić. Come up to Level 1 from 6 to 7.30 pm, Friday 29 March.
Miloš Perić is a newcomer in Aotearoa. The works at this exhibition are selected from a collection of his early impressions of New Zealand – somewhat playful visual notes from the still ongoing journey of discovery of the newly adopted homeland. His inspiration is to a large extent drawn from its nature, infused with light and enhanced with imagination while remaining respectful of the spirit of the landscape and the life it supports.
Out of the greyness of volcanic rocks, out of the bark of trees and the cloudy sky, emerge the hidden colours.
Milos has lived in Yugoslavia, South Africa and since 2015, New Zealand. An artist an engineer, he wanders through this world with cheerful determination, stopping along the way to catch his breath and admire the view.
The works are somewhat playful, visual notes from his personal journey of discovery.
This exhibition is his tribute to Life and Light and an expression of gratitude to his best friend.
On show daily from 30 March, 10 am to 4 pm, until 21 April 2019.
