Create your own whale’s tooth out of beef bone. This tikanga-based contemporary workshop introduces various carving and design processes. Develop a new technical skillset using files, drills and polishing tools. Experiment with wet and dry sanding techniques to finish off your taonga. Participants will also learn traditional lashing and binding techniques used in Māori Object art.
