The Slabbert family makes things.  While they share a name and a passion for the handmade, they have each mastered a diverse range of skills: Mauritz in woodturning, Norma in quiltmaking, and Yvette in bobbin lacemaking.

Listen to artists Norma and Yvette Slabbert as they discuss the art of woodturning, lacemaking and quilting. After the talk, they will demonstrate how to create lace and quilts in the galleries.
