This tikanga-based contemporary workshop introduces participants to carving and design practices. Develop a new technical skillset using files, drills, and polishing tools. Experiment with wet and dry sanding methods to add the finishing touch to your taonga. And learn traditional lashing and binding techniques commonly used in Māori object art.

Nathan Homestead is Manurewa's community arts centre. The historic Homestead was built in 1925 and is situated on nine acres of exquisite lawn and gardens. It has been kept in its original state and is a unique setting for all types of functions and occasions.
