latching doors, opening blinds - Brent Harris and Tempo Dance Festival
latching doors, opening blinds
'latching doors, opening blinds' is an experimental text that responds to J.M. Coetzee's (1999) 'Elizabeth Costello'. Coetzee's novel explores the relation between humans and other animals, and relations between author and work. 'latching doors, opening windows' engages the novel's episodic structure and an ethics-politics of continuity and discontinuity.
