Mahurangi Artist’s Studio Trail (MAST) 2020
Calling all creatives in the Mahurangi region – from the Dome Valley to Puhoi, Omaha and Leigh.
The success of the 2019 Mahurangi Artist’s Studio Trail gave us the courage to get bigger and bolder for 2020. After postponing the original dates during the hiatus of lockdown, we are now enthusiastically planning the event’s return in October 2020.
A first event on 16, 17 and 18th October at the Old Masonic Hall in Warkworth, followed by a studio trail on 24, 25 and 26th October.
During the last year, the Mahurangi Artist Network has developed and grown. We have a great website which gives all the artists a profile page in addition to the Trail weekends, we meet regularly and informally for support and sharing.
Don’t be stopped by wondering what people will say – everyone in the network and visitors on the trail dates are friendly and enthusiastic. You can choose to be greeting visitors at your studio, or, if you don’t have a suitable studio, we have spaces for you to share.
You will find inspiration and friendships, connections and more through being involved. You can sign up through the website (, email us on or phone Alysn 022 3186750.

So …
What do we want? You to join us
When do we want it? Now! (Well, as soon as)

Interests As an English person newly arrived in New Zealand, I have been really excited to be able to find so many artistic outlets in NZ. As a practicing artist I am hoping to meet other artists, join groups and exhibit widely.
