Auckland Pride month and Black history month, Same Same but Black presents: Icon-2021 A socially- distanced online photography exhibition celebrating the black, indigenous, and other people of colour pioneers of the queer movement.
A celebration of the LGBTTQIA+ & BIPOC community. Icon 2021 Part exhibition, part education, part conversation, part celebration; Icons 2021 is an online photography exhibition, podcast interviews with Lola Flash and Robert Taylor both with work in ICON-2021 , live-stream events and social media outreach. We will help the community bond and connect through live stream events, emails and the hashtag #Icon2021. Pop-Up Exhibition will be out physical presence around Auckland.
