A hands-on workshop lead by Brett Graham, in which participants will work with black sand and small moulds.

The black sands reference the territories of Taranaki and Tainui Māori, featured in Brett Graham's exhibition Tai Moana Tai Tangata, on currently at the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery. Lined by the black sands of Te Uru (the West Coast), this area reaches from the Manukau in the north to Ohawe in the south.

This workshop is suitable for those age 15+. All materials are provided.
