Smell the Roses… Light Infused Painting - Artist Talk/Opening/Workshop

The University of Waikato Te Whare Wānanga o Waikato, Gallagher Academy of Performing Arts, invites you to the launch of Smell the Roses... Light infused painting by Larisse Hall.

We will be opening this exhibition at 4pm following a talk at 3pm by the artist in discussion with the University's Art Collection Curator. Please join us for some light refreshments and to experience the captivating and time transformative work of Nelson based artist Larisse Hall.

In conjunction with Smell the Roses... exhibition, artist Larisse Hall will offer a 3 Hour workshop, exploring colour mixing theories and the science behind paint and light colours.  Varying paint applications will be explored to create colour results using this knowledge. This workshop will be hands on and fun, and is suitable for ages 17 and over. Register here, places are limited.

*A mini paint kit will be supplied per student.
