Dolphin Theatre is proud to present its One Act Play Festival. A total of six short plays will be presented on alternate nights featuring three plays per performance.

Bonking James Bond - by April Phillips Directed by Charlie Gaultier

A warm hearted comedy about Betty who has just discovered her husband is having an affair.
The Irish Murderer - by Tom G Robertson Directed by Simon Foley
A play filled with the comic irony and tragic absurdity of the bitter cycle of violence between Protestant and Catholic Northern Ireland.
The Norse Mythology - by Don Zolidis Directed by Blair Purkiss
This wild and wonderful jaunt through Norse mythology is the the most fun you can have with the apocalypse.

The play revolves around artistic ambition, competition, and a healthy splash of imposter syndrome.
The Hound - by HP Lovecraft, adapted by Greg Oliver Bodine Directed by Arthur Young
A solo one-act play adapted from the classic, short horror story by H.P. Lovecraft.
Persuasion - by Ashely J Barnard Directed by Robyn Fleming
period classic set in 1806 that follows the unrequited lovestory of Anne Elliot

Dolphin Theatre began as The Onehunga Repertory Players in 1961. Mrs Veronica Dow, an actress and producer who had been active in English repertory theatre, was invited by the Mayor and Mayoress, Mr and Mrs Leo Manning, to form a local drama group.
