800 Degrees Glass and Creative Communities workshop: INTRODUCTION TO VESSEL MAKING WORKSHOP IN CAST GLASS

10, 11 and 17th April 2021.

 

You will learn how to create a small vessel using a variety of methods which will be demonstrated so you can choose.  The workshop includes up to 1kg of gaffer lead crystal glass to be used for this workshop.

You will also learn how to invest your wax models, steam out and how to figure out how much glass is required to fill the void with glass to capture the negative space in the mould.

On the following Saturday, 17th April, you will return to demould your creation and learn basic coldworking techniques.  No experience is necessary.

Health and Safety is a requirement in our studio and scanning our QR code under Level 1.

Register to avoid disappointment as spaces are limited to a maximum of four people! First in first serve.
