Nairn Street Preservation Society: Design a Repeat Pattern

Learn how to design a repeating pattern with artist and textile designer Greta Menzies.

Using pens, paper and scissors, Greta will teach the ‘Swiss Repeat’ technique and demonstrate how to translate your pattern into a digital realm. No experience necessary! Materials provided.

About Greta:

Greta Menzies is a Wellington based artist and designer, trained in textile design, whose art practice explores intuitive and stream-of-consciousness making as a way of actualising existential thoughts.

Greta completed her Master of Design (Hons) degree at Massey University’s College of Creative Arts in Wellington.
