We are delighted to announce that the exhibition will run for an extra week - now finishing 2pm, Saturday 29th May

 

The Botanical Art Society of New Zealand and Space Studio and Gallery, Whanganui are pleased to announce the opening of the botanical art exhibition 'For the Love of Botanical'.

Opening: Wednesday, May 12th at 5:30 - 7pm

Viewing: May 12 until May 29th, Wednesday to Saturday, 10am - 2pm, with late veiwing Fridays 4-6pm

Additional to the gallery's usual business they will also be open Tuesday, May 18th from 10am - 2pm for 'World Day of Botanical Art',

 

This juried exhibition celebrates World Day of Botanical Art, May 18 and showcases a range of media and approaches to the subject from traditional to abstract.

Thirty-five artworks in both 2D and 3D, by twenty-five New Zealand artists, show what's currently happening in the field of botanical art in New Zealand.
