Address:Kelburn Parade, Wellington Entrance can be gained through the main glass doors from the Hunter Courtyard - the plaza on the left, half way up the Kelburn Parade hill just before the overhead walkway and between the two pedestrian crossings – or up the steps from behind the Hunter Building. Wheelchair access is possible through the former - a lift is available from the main foyer to Level 2. Car parks on the campus can be found through Gate 1 after 6pm, or metered parks on Kelburn Parade.

Now in its 34th season, the New Zealand String Quartet has established an international reputation for its insightful interpretations, compelling communication, and dynamic performing style. The Quartet is known for its imaginative programming and for its powerful connection with audiences of all kinds.
Programme 2 sweeps from the sounds of late Mozart to contemporary NZ composer Louise Webster’s nostalgic 'this memory of earth'. Following Shostakovich’s emotive and impassioned String Quartet No. 11 is Mendelssohn’s String Quartet Op. 13, No. 2 – an irresistible finale.
