The attendees at a Building Community panel as part of our 2019 conference prompted calls for more in-depth time on the topic. This event will focus on creating theatre with and for communities and examine co-production models and best practice in cultural, disability and queer interface. 
KAUPAPA / PROGRAMME will include
- advice on approaching communities 
- pathways for participation in, and presentation of work 
- co-production models
- best practice cultural interface 
- advice on venues, partnerships, sponsorship and funding
Confirmed conference leaders include Ahi KarunaharanTanya Muagututi’a, Jo Randerson and Dolina Wehipeihana plus a range of guests who are leaders in activating specific communities of arts practitioners, drawing community participants and developing audiences from specific communities. Presented in association with Auckland Live and Foundation North.
