Eden Hore – Curator's tour with Claire Regnault
Join Claire Regnault for a curatorial tour of Eden Hore: High Fashion/High Country, an exhibition providing an escape into the unexpectedly glamorous world of Eden Hore, a visionary farmer who collected over two hundred couture gowns in 1970s Aotearoa.
Eden’s collection offers a fascinating glimpse into the emergence of high fashion in New Zealand, as local designers took inspiration from luxurious fabrics, flamboyant styles and the glitter of disco lights in the pursuit of making it big.
This event is part of Threads Textiles Festival. At the Red setting registration is essential for this tour.
