Learn the basics to get started in the fascinating medium of watercolour. Tutored by very experienced WSA tutor and artist Paulette Bruns.
Event type:
Art, Workshop/Seminar
Waikato Society of Arts
120 Victoria Street, Hamiton Central, Hamilton (upstairs above Artspost Gallery)

Workshops are a great way to learn some skills if you haven’t got time for weekly term classes, or want a taste of a particular medium.

This workshop is ideal for absolute beginners to watercolour or those who feel they need refreshing on the basic techniques.

In this 1 day workshop, we will produce a step by step painting that encompasses some core techniques as well as some small reference examples.

Workshop numbers are kept at 8 students maximum to help each student acheive maximum results.

Your tutor Paulette specialises in Watercolour and has been teaching at the WSA for over 6 years.

Light refreshments are provided, but you will need to bring your own lunch. (Or there are several cafes and subway across the road) We will stop for a half an hour lunch break at 12pm.
