Sideshow is an art exhibition at Thistle Hall (Wellington) that demonstrates the diverse and rich talent that runs through the veins of our New Zealand film community.

There is a common creative gypsy soul that seems to touch all involved in the film community. Art Directors, Carpenters, Sculptors, Painters, Set Decorators, Fabric Folks, and so on. All are adventuresome, adaptable, multi tasking, multi talented, and tenaciuos in their own right.

"I feel we in the film community are certainly of the same basic nature as those who formed the traveling Gypsy Theatre and Circus Venues of years past. Our community as a whole can achieve amazing feats," said Therese Eberhard (founder of sideshow). 'Sideshow' is an opportunity to view some of the diverse talents that help make up the crews in your local film communities. There are 46 Artist exhibiting varied works in the show.
