George Berry is a 22-year old Freelance Journalist and Musician. Completing his studies at the New Zealand Broadcasting School in 2018, George then went on to work at Newshub Sport as a reporter in Auckland, eventually moving back to his hometown of Christchurch to pursue music with his band, 'The Butlers.' The Butlers are a five piece funkadelic surf rock band who have sold out numerous tours in New Zealand and even in Australia, opening for some of the worlds biggest Alternative Rock bands and have released two EP's and an Album on all digital streaming platforms. When George isn't playing music, he works as a freelance reporter at Newshub in Christchurch and an Arts Coordinator at his old high-school, while also writing for numerous media outlets, including The Big Idea!
