Siobhan is a senior PR and communications consultant who has worked in the industry, in Aotearoa and Australia, since 2001.
Her boutique PR agency, Mr Fahrenheit Publicity, for which she is Managing Director, has a focus on arts, lifestyle and events clients and projects.
Mr Fahrenheit Publicity represents many of Auckland’s major arts organisations and events. Currently they include:
- Auckland Arts Festival (2013, 2017, 2018, 2019)
- Auckland Theatre Company, for whom she has managed the publicity since 2013
- Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra
- Shortland Street - The Musical (Auckland's ATC season and 2019 national tour)
- The Michael Hill International Violin Competition (2015, 2017, 2019)
- Show Me Shorts Film Festival (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018)
- The upcoming Wellington and Christchurch seasons of Cabaret de Paris (M2 Productions)
- The Tauranga International Marathon (2017, 2018)
- Woodford House's 125th Anniversary (Feb 2019)
Other recent clients include Auckland Live, The Stetson Group, The Hills Golf Course, Mindlab by Unitec, Touch Compass Dance Company, Okareka Dance Company, Allergy New Zealand, Spark Festival, Lot23, Bullet Heart Club and Lij Franchise, among others.
From 2004 – 2012, Siobhan lived in Sydney. There, she worked for some of the city’s most highly regarded arts organisations, including Sydney Opera House, Sydney Theatre Company, Sydney Dance Company, Belvoir, Griffin Theatre Company, the Blake Prize for Religious Art, Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, Shopfront Contemporary Arts, Australian Dance Theatre, Australian Theatre for Young People, Monkey Baa Theatre Company and multitudes of independent theatre companies.
She's also had corporate and agency roles, including Account Director for the Events and Entertainment team of one of the country’s most highly regarded PR firms, Pead PR. Her clients included Xbox, Samsung, The Wiggles, Pacific Music Awards, Auckland Council (Southside Arts Festival, Matariki) and Eden Park, among many others. And she worked in-house for Lion Nathan (NZ), IKEA Australia and the TAB (NZ). In Australia, her other clients included eBay, Panasonic, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Australian Writer's Guild and GIO Insurance, among others.
Siobhan has a BA in Sociology from Victoria University of Wellington and a Post-Graduate Diploma in PR and Communications from AUT University.
In 2008, she completed a paper in Multicultural Audience Professional Development through Kape Communications and the Australian Multicultural Foundation.
As a youngster, Siobhan completed her grades and Performer’s Certificate in Cello, her grades and ATCL in Speech and Drama, and reached Grade Six in Singing.
