The New Zealand Festival is a biennial multi-arts festival held in the nation's capital, Wellington. It is New Zealand's premier and largest cultural event and exists to celebrate the best arts entertainment from around the world and within New Zealand. The first Festival was held in 1986 and the next will be 21 February to 16 March 2014.

The 2012 New Zealand International Festival of the Arts brought 900 artists from around the world to Wellington for more than 300 performances.
Around 900 artists from around the globe will descend on Wellington for the 2012 New Zealand International Arts Festival, opening on 24 February.
