Page Galleries represents leading contemporary New Zealand artists while also maintaining a strong focus on the secondary market, with resales of significant historical artworks.
Alongside our exhibitions of represented artists we are delighted to be launching a parallel exhibition programme of young and emerging artists.
In addition, we provide valuation services for both historical and contemporary art collections.
Marcia Page opened the doors of her first gallery in 1987. Tinakori Gallery initially focused on historical artworks, and quickly established itself as an authority in this field. Over the course of the first thirteen years, the focus became increasingly contemporary and this transition was reinforced by the relocation to a larger and more central space on Featherston Street. By 2006, the decision was made to relocate again, this time to the current address at 42 Victoria Street. When James Blackie joined Marcia Page as co-Director at the end of 2007 the business began trading as Page Blackie Gallery. 2019 signalled a new chapter in the history of the gallery with the departure of James Blackie from the gallery team and the establishment of Page Galleries.
