White Night In St Petersburg
Recalling Conductor Sarah Bisley's appearances on the European stage, Ensemble Polymnia presents a glorious Russian-French programme named after the famous annual St Petersburg Festival, which celebrates the "white" summer nights.
Debussy: Prelude a l'Apres-midi d'un Faune (1884) Chopin: Piano Concerto No.2 in F minor, Op. 21 (1830) Tchaikovsky Symphony No.5 in e minor, Op. 64 (1888).
The soloist is Rosemary Barnes, one of New Zealand's leading pianists.
