Form Gallery exists to showcase and retail the work of New Zealand contemporary object and jewellery artists; it was established in 1993 by Koji Miyazaki in Christchurch's Cathedral Square, New Zealand.
July 2015, Form Gallery is celebrating the simple flower. Under appreciated and taken for granted, seven New Zealand based artists have ventured to break that stereotype. “Flower Garden” opens to the public on Wednesday 8th of July, at 5.30pm. It will run for three weeks until the 31st of July, and will be a unique experience to view work from artists both familiar and new.
“Flower Garden” is a vibrant exhibition of seven New Zealand Artists; differing in working medium, interpretation and expression. From the glass work of Lukeke Design, and Garry Nash in collaboration with Claire Bell, to the ceramic work of Katie Gold, there is something sure to please everyone. We also welcome established Jewellers Lisa West and Penelope barnhill, and sculptor Jane Downes to Form Gallery.
