Robin is the co-founder and director of Auckland-based, boutique theatre production hous, Last Tapes Theatre Company.

Robin is the co-founder and director of Auckland-based, boutique theatre production hous, Last Tapes Theatre Company. Last year, Last Tapes was responsible for the critically acclaimed national tour to theatres, high schools, and corrections facilities of seminal New Zealand works Verbatim and Portraits, as well as the sell out season of Earnest at Q Theatre. The Last Tapes team are advocates of professional, equitable working conditions for New Zealand live performance artists and technicians, and the dissemination of moving, challenging, through-provoking theatre to diverse audiences.

Robin also works as a pianist, musical director, arranger, choir leader, and composer around Auckland for companies such as Silo Theatre, Dionysos Productions, and Auckland Theatre Company. He is a tutor for The Actors Program and sits on the Board of Centre City Music Theatre. He holds a BMus (Composition) and a BSc (Hons) in Molecular Biology from the University of Auckland, and worked as a research scientist concomitantly with his creative arts practices until committing to full-time pursuit of the arts in 2015.
