Lake Rototuna

Lake Rototuna

Lake Rototuna feels like a very spiritual place, thick with history and people been and gone before. There is only one hotel in the area- no lights across the lake, or evidence from others. In the morning, after a strong thunderstorm, I woke up to see the sun rise and paint the sky. Half of the sky was pink, the other half was blue. A rainbow formed across the lake, and it was a new day. There is no other place in the world quite like it.
