NZ On Air recently opened its 2014 Kickstart funding round with an initial ‘call for ideas’.  The fund is looking for larger, interactive projects that are innovative and push the bounds of creative storytelling.

NZ On Air recently opened its 2014 Kickstart funding round with an initial ‘call for ideas’.  The fund is looking for larger, interactive projects that are innovative and push the bounds of creative storytelling.

This fund is specifically aimed at projects that are transmedia or multi-channel in their approach and 2014 sees a request for projects that focus on NZ children.

There is $600,000 available for projects of up to $300,000 each.

Kickstart is just one of NZ On Air’s Digital Media Funds so here’s a handy introductory infographic, by Fiona Milburn from Transmedia NZ, outlining the wider DMF funding strand.  

Transmedia NZ will also provide updates as more 2014 requests for proposals (RFPs) become available.
