~ ☼ ~ Auckland Zinefest is back for the end of the summer ~ ☼ ~
Auckland Zinefest is a festival that invites the community to meet and celebrate zine culture. Zines (short for fanzines) are self-made publications which are cultural and artistic forms of self-expression. Zines can take any shape and are embraced by all types of artists, activist groups or anyone who has something to say.
The summer edition of Auckland Zinefest is back for the second year in a row. This Saturday 3rd March from Noon to 4pm, Zinefest brings together a collection of the local self-publishing talent and groovy summer activities to enjoy out in the sun. There will be stalls from zine-makers, small press publications, stickers, art prints, an ice cream truck, live performances and collaborative workshops open to everyone.
Where: Auckland City Library, 44-46 Lorne Street, Auckland Central
When: Saturday 3rd March from Noon until 4pm
This event is part of the Auckland Fringe Festival and it is FREE
