Dunedin City Council Creative Register

Creative opportunities arise anywhere, anytime. Want to know when they come up at the DCC?

Tēnā koutou katoa, our Creative Register has been launched!

What is it?

Opportunities for artists do arise out of DCC projects and events – these can range from a public artwork, performing at a city festival, or co-design on an infrastructure project.  To ensure that those interested in these opportunities don’t miss out, we’re keen to have creative people from all over the country sign up to the newly established Creative Register and receive information directly about creative opportunities here in Ōtepoti.

How does it work?

When DCC projects are looking for artists, those registered will be contacted directly when the Expressions of Interest are published. Opportunities will continue to be released through usual media channels, but Ara Toi wants to make it as easy as possible for creative practitioners to stay informed.

If businesses or individuals in the city are looking for a local artist, Ara Toi staff can send project details to those on the Creative Register. The focus is on putting together the city’s creative professionals with those looking to introduce an element of art and creativity into their projects.

What do I do?

Registrations from individual artists and collaborative groups are welcome and details can be entered by following the link to the online registration form.
