The festival is seeking short films made in the last two years to screen at the 11th annual event.
Submissions are requested by August 21st, no entry fee is required.
The city once known for gardens is now best known for earthquakes, but the quakes have not dulled the local appetite for short films. The festival event has taken to it's feet and roved around the city's halls since being displaced from the Art Gallery last year, this has given us a wonderful new feel for our public and a chance to take the works we showcase to a greater audience.
We present four two-hours shows on evenings in late October. These shows present both local and international short film works of under 12 minutes each.
Last year we toured the event to other cities and had special one-off screenings in more isolated sections of Christchurch in the months after the festival's main event. We plan to do the same this year.
Email us for details on how you can submit your film for inclusion in the 2012 event.
