Te Papa stands proud as an iconic national building housing the treasures of the nation.  We are a destination for both national and international visitors, and in the 2009/10 year just over 1.4 million people came through our doors.

Both our Te Papa and Espresso Cafés are looking for casual staff members to be available to work flexible days and hours in our busy daytime cafés.

We are looking for someone with prior experience in barista coffee making, excellent customer service skills, cashiering and the ability to work under pressure

We are committed to putting our guest's experience first and need dedicated team players who are flexible on the number of hours they may work each week.  Both Cafés are open 7 days a week so you will need to be available for both weekend work and public holidays in particular over the busy Christmas and New Year period.  Your flexibility to work over the Christmas and New Year period as necessary is a key selection criteria for this position.

The work is busy, fast paced and in a fantastic environment, so come join us!
