Seeking jewellery exhibition proposals
We are seeking contemporary jewellery exhibition proposals for 2013 from emerging and established jewellers to exhibit in our Curiosity Cabinet.
Lopdell House Gallery has moved from Lopdell House in Titirangi while the grand old lady is redeveloped and a new gallery is built over the next two years. From our off-site premises in New Lynn, we will continue to deliver an exciting arts programme with monthly window installations, the Curiosity Cabinet exhibitions and a gallery shop. Our outreach programme is underway including pop-up events and collaborative projects.
The Curiosity Cabinet exhibitions will be monthly throughout 2013 and will be promoted within the gallery’s marketing material. The exhibition space includes a purpose built glass cabinet with drawers and a wall behind it, which can be used if desired. The dimensions of the cabinet are 1400mm long x 650 wide x 420 deep and the wall is 2500mm wide x 2300 tall. Proposals should be supported with an artist’s statement, photos and CV.
