Do you need help with online marketing?

Creative New Zealand is delighted to announce the third year of Optimise, which enables New Zealand arts organisations to take advantage of the power of online marketing to attract new audiences and increase returns.

This initiative provides the only opportunity of its kind in the New Zealand arts sector. Creative New Zealand will partner with Vicki Allpress Hill, of The Audience Connection, to increase arts organisations' understanding of best practice in online marketing.

Optimise Coaching – Call for applications

We are offering three organisations the opportunity to receive one-to-one coaching (valued at over $3,000 per participant) and a match-funding grant of $2,500 to trial a new online marketing initiative.

Coaching will focus on a strategy, tactic or project that best suits each organisation’s resources and online marketing goals.

The Optimise Coaching initiative is open to selected organisations at any stage in their adoption of online marketing. Whether you are at the early stages of using online marketing or consider yourself relatively experienced, you are welcome to apply for this in-depth coaching opportunity.

Eligibility criteria:

To be eligible to apply for this online coaching initiative, your organisation needs to:

  • Be able to identify a key problem or opportunity that can be served by online marketing;
  • Be a Creative New Zealand-funded organisation – in the Toi Tōtara Haemata or the Toi Uru Kahikatea programmes;
  • Be in a position to match-fund Creative New Zealand's grant of $2,500 (plus GST) to trial a new online media tactic or tool;
  • Be willing to share the results of your online initiative, including assisting in the development of case studies outlining the process and results of the coaching work and trials, which will be presented online and/or at future Creative New Zealand workshops.;
  • Be available for coaching period (Feb 2013 – June 2013), as well as for digital marketing workshops (March 2013) and free webinars (January – June 2013);
  • Have a dedicated staff member(s) available to work on the programme;

Participating organisations will also be required to assist in preparing case studies outlining the process and results of the coaching work and trials.
