  • Work for NZ's No 1 radio station
  • Opportunity to work for the market leader
New Zealand’s number one radio station is looking for a new journalist to join the Christchurch newsroom.

This position requires someone who is prepared to work shifts and can gather and break hard news and sport stories to deadline.

You must be able to develop new angles on stories, prepare tight scripts (for on-air and website), edit audio and conduct hard-hitting interviews. A broadcast quality voice and news reading ability is also a must. You need to be forward thinking and have the ability to find good talent.

You will have previous broadcast journalism experience and know your way around a radio newsroom. You’ll already be passionate about breaking news – that’s what this radio station is all about. Getting it right, but also getting it first.

We offer you a fun and supportive team and a fantastic learning environment.
