Marketing Adviser/ Senior Adviser, Going Digital
Full-time Fixed-term until December 2013
2013 is the year when TV in New Zealand goes digital. By December this year, if Kiwis aren't watching Freeview, Sky, Igloo or TelstraClear TV, they'll be watching nothing. Latest figures show that around 9 of 10 homes are already watching digital television, meaning there are still around 450,000 New Zealanders who are yet to get the benefit of better pictures and more channels.
We need you to help tell them.
As Marketing Adviser, you will be responsible for delivering our marketing strategy. One of your key foci will be the development of campaigns to reach niche audiences in Auckland. You will be managing agencies, internal and external stakeholders, working with a team of mobile community advisers, and driving a number of projects designed to make sure everyone in New Zealand knows when they're going digital and what they need to do.
You'll need to be comfortable overseeing the production and management of broadcast media campaigns, managing design and media agencies, and closely monitoring the marketing performance of a high profile campaign. You'll need to be a brand guardian and someone who is able to adhere completely to key messages. Ideally, you will be experienced in marketing and communicating with ethnic audiences and those for whom English is not the first language.
