Our fabulous new tutor Sharleen Greer is known as the crochet queen of Matakana.

Sharleen has been a crocheter since her teens, and for the last 10 years she has taught crochet classes around New Zealand. She has been a finalist at the renowned ‘World of Wearable Art’ in 2009 and has won many awards and exhibited in various exhibitions throughout NZ.

At Mairangi Arts Centre Sharleen will be teaching ‘Learn how to crochet’ classes for adults and teens, with the aim of creating an outdoor yarnbombing project in the MAC carpark in winter.

Adult class – Starts Monday, 4 Feb 2013, 1-4pm

Teen class (ages 10-17) – Starts Monday, 4 Feb 2013, 4:30-6pm
