As the Early Childhood Educator, you will be working under the Museum of Living Cultures Directorate, to deliver exciting and interactive education programmes that are curriculum-linked and designed to complement classroom activities and interactive family experiences. Being a new position, this is a green fields opportunity to really make the role your own.

This role is varied and the ideal candidate will have the skills and experience to:

• Evaluate and review existing programmes and develop a variety of ECE programmes that meet the various needs of diverse audiences.
• Develop ECE programme marketing in consultation with marketing staff
• Train Visitor Services Hosts to deliver ECE programmes.
• Maintain relationships with diverse communities, audiences and organisations to develop programmes that meet a diverse range of ECE needs.
• Review the results of research and analytical activities to understand audiences, assess the effectiveness of current programmes and identify new directions

Knowledge of the NZ ECE curriculum, written and interpersonal skills, and experience working with under 5's are all essential to be successful in this role.
