The James Wallace Arts Trust is looking for a highly reliable and mature individual to perform light duties at an Auckland property rich in sculpture while living at an historic house full of antiques and contemporary art which is often used for art/charity fundraising.
Great advantage if interested in the arts; willingness and ability to personally escort Director to concerts and cultural events on occasion.
Duties include being present at the property when the existing staff are absent (by arrangement), lawn mowing, some gardening and occasional driving, In exchange the Trust will provide free board and lodging (no charge for food, electricity, gas, water, rates, insurance, maintenance, rent, and local phones etc); large bedroom with ensuite bathroom. This position is ideal for someone doing post-graduate study or equivalent. Additional casual work beyond stated duties may be available and would be remunerated on an invoiceable basis
Ability to safely drive expensive cars. Trustworthy, independence. Compatibility.
