On Saturday, 16 March 2013 the Mairangy Bay Business Association and the Mairangi Arts Centre will be holding our annual Art on the Street Day. This gives artists an opportunity to showcase themselves and also a chance to sell their work.

Each artist is given a spot on the pavement in Mairangi Bay Village Centre to set up and you need to bring everything you require- tables and chairs etc. All we give is the space.

Set up is from 9.30am and the auction is 12.45pm at the end of Green Gables. As in past years we will deduct 20% to give a donation to the work of the Salvation Army locally.

You can also bring two finished artworks to sell during the morning from your spot.

The idea is to complete a piece during morning, as oils are difficult I am happy for you to auction a “dry” piece instead.

There will also be face painting and busking, so bring your family and invite friends to come along!

Rain day will 23 March - just in case

Key skills

Anyone keen to paint and happy to share their passion with others

How to apply

You do need to register to take part so please either email Carole on mairangi.coord@xtra.co.nz or call her on 473 3259.
