Fundraising & Promotions Manager
To assist the General Manager in the successful operation of Free FM through reliable revenue generation to consolidate the station’s financial future; and achieve optimal exposure and profile through media, promotion, branding and events.
Free FM is a unique local media outlet representing our region’s diverse communities in line with the philosophy of Access Radio. The role of Fundraising & Promotions Manager offers a rare opportunity to contribute to our city’s cultural and social diversity and to build on the station’s recent successes. The Fundraising & Promotions Manager has a diverse set of responsibilities that fall under two main areas.
In order of priority they are;
- Sourcing operational and project funding to ensure the station’s financial security, and,
- Managing all marketing and communication activities including internal and external communication, brand management, events management, stakeholder relationships
Free FM is looking for a creative, clear and strategic thinker with a proven track record in fundraising through grants applications, matched with highly developed skills in marketing, communications and event management. This is a permanent part-time role with flexible working hours by negotiation.
