Changing Minds is employing a part-time Information Centre co-ordinator to work for us for 6 months to develop our resource centre, which is currently in need of some TLC and some organising! Changing Minds is a small and friendly organisation dedicated to the development of projects which advance the needs of those who have experienced mental health and/or addiction issues.  We work toward an equitable and socially inclusive society for all peoples.

This role requires a diverse set of skills and knowledge.  Experience and education in a related field is desirable, but not essential.

This is a part-time role of 20 hours per week, for a period of 6 months.  There will be some flexibility as to when these hours will be worked between the hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:
•    Library, resource centre, or cataloguing experience preferred
•    Some knowledge of the mental health and/or addictions sector would be an advantage.
•    Well developed administration and IT skills
•    Good time management and planning abilities.
•    Kind, friendly, approachable and professional.
•    Strong cultural awareness and responsiveness
•    Drivers Licence preferred as some travel within Auckland may be required
