Proposals are invited for the provision of publicity and outreach services for Northart.
Located in the Northcote Shopping Centre, ten minutes from downtown Auckland and Takapuna, Northart provides a community-focussed programme of exhibitions by local and national artists, and an associated programme of public events and activities.
The Kaipātiki Local Board, which supports and provides funding for Northart, has allocated a one-off $16,000 addition to the facility budget to help the organisation develop and implement a publicity action plan.
Proposals are due on or before 19 October 2015 and require a detailed outline of the potential supplier’s specific approach and methodology to providing the publicity services. Proposals will demonstrate the ability to develop a strong network of relationships with creative communities and audiences in the Kaipātiki and surrounding local board areas. The publicity service provider will need to develop and implement an action plan that is subsequently handed to the facility to maintain and which encompasses:
- Increased awareness of Northart in the creative sector
- Establishment of Northart ‘champions/advocates’ who promote the precinct
- Increased diversity in audiences
- Increased audiences
- Increased community involvement
- Increased media and online presence
- Increased business sustainability
- Establishment of a communications strategy
- Establishment of communications systems
Proposals will be assessed using the following criteria:
- Proven track record
- Strategic approach
- Detailed methodology
- Pricing structure
Proposals must be received by 5 pm Monday 19 October 2015 via email to tracey.williams@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz.
