Executive Assistant /Team Co-ordinator

 

Creative New Zealand (the Arts Council of New Zealand Toi Aotearoa) is the national arts development organisation, supporting, promoting and advocating for the arts and artists in New Zealand. 

We are looking for a fabulous Executive Assistant/Team Co-ordinator who loves the challenge of working in a busy, dynamic environment juggling many priorities and projects at one time. This is a full time position based in our Wellington office.  

Your primary focus will be to provide professional executive assistant and administration support to the Senior Manager, Arts Policy, Capability and International (TAPIC) and the TAPIC team.  This support will include:

                                                                          

  • Diary management, co-ordinating meetings, drafting correspondence, making travel bookings and processing invoices and visa reconciliations.
  • Co-ordinating and administering/supporting the projects, programmes and initiatives managed through the TAPIC team.
  • Assisting to organise events/festivals/fairs as required.
  • Maintaining the team work plan.

 

To be successful in this role, you will be:

 

  • An experienced administrator with an excellent knowledge of and experience in administrative processes and systems.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email management systems. 
  • Client focused, organised, detail and results orientated.
  • A strong team player.

 

Knowledge and experience of the New Zealand arts sector is desirable.  Enthusiasm, initiative, adaptability and a professional manner are essential in this position.
